Though over 130 persons have registered, it is likely that all eyes will be on Bissessar against the undefeated Team Mohamed’s.

Team Mohamed’s Pro-Mod has the capacity to dip below seven seconds, but has not gone close to that mark as yet. However, driver Clint Satterfield is confident it can achieve the intended fast times this weekend.

According to the GT-R driver, Terence Cox, he is happy about the increase in competition, noting that the amount of track preparation is allowing the speed machines to perform at optimum level.

Cox had told News Room Sport that Team Mohamed’s all-wheel drive machines have what it takes to get the job done and will remain champions of the strip.

Also from the twin-island republic is another dragster being driven by Miguel Pustam, along with Kervin Ribeiro with his 1JZ powered 2nd Generation RX-7 stock chassis, which claimed a world record for the fastest Toyota 1JZ Engine in 2017,

GMR&SC President Mahendra ‘Raj’ Boodhoo has indicated they might have to start elimination at 11:00h to accommodate for the high influx of cars and to ensure all races are completed.
