“With a space like this, we really want to have cuisine for our people who haven’t travelled or even those who have frequented restaurants all over the world.

“The concept of fusion is a concept of spices all over the world,” Badal said.

Importantly, he also explained that this concept is meant to reflect Guyana’s own fusion of people- being the land of six people and all.

But there is more.

There is, of course, a well-stocked bar, which the owner boasts can produce any cocktail desires. New technology has been infused into the kitchen to reduce cooking time.

Essentially, Badal believes the space can be used for any celebration and there are spaces for private, more intimate gatherings. Versatile is how he describes this new venture.

Altogether, it is a set-up that rivals any internationally-recognised restaurant. That said, would this restaurant cater to any ordinary person just as much as it caters to the white-collar crowd?

Well, Badal believes it will.

“If you want an experience like this, it won’t come cheap but we have successfully made it affordable,” he posited.

This restaurant is set for opening on Thursday, days ahead of the start of the Cricket Carnival excitement here in Guyana. In the first instance, it will be open five days weekly- from Wednesday to Sunday.

It is expected to meet the growing demand for hospitality services in Guyana.
