stabbed to death on Wednesday morning, had an old grievance over $500 with the suspect.
This is according to Regional Commander (ag), Mahendra Singh, who told the News Room that Weekes, a taxi driver and the suspect, a 28-year-old resident of Mocha, had an argument over parking space.
“They would have had an old grievance and the animosity was something relating to parking space and one thing led to another,” the Commander said.
Both Weekes and the suspect operated taxis at the head of the Mocha Public Road.
The News Room understands that Weekes, a father of one, was also expecting his second child.
He was stabbed four times; twice to his hands, left shoulder and lower left chest.
