The senior male and female table tennis teams won bronze at the ongoing Caribbean Championships in the Dominican Republic.
The men and women lost their semi-final matches 0-3 to the formidable Cuba.
The female team comprised Olympian Chelsea Edghill, Natalie Cummings, Thuraia Thomas, and Jasmine Billingy, while Shemar Britton led the men alongside Joel Alleyne, Elishaba Johnson, and Niran Bissu.
On Wednesday evening, Cummings lost her match to Estela Crepso 10-12, 5-11, 10-12, after which Edghill went the distance against Karla Perez.
However, the Olympian lost 12-14, 11-4, 11-8, 11-9, 11-8.
Thomas then went down 3-11, 4-11, 6-11 to Perez.
The double for the Cubans over Guyana was completed as Britton lost 1-3 (2-11, 11-7, 10-12, 4-11) to Adrian Perez, which was followed by Johnson going down 11-8, 7-11,8-11, 2-11 to Livan Martinez.
Rene Mendez swept Alleyne 3-0 (11-7, 11-6, 11-3).
The men finished second in their group, having secured a 3-1 win over Aruba and a 0-3 loss to Puerto Rico.
The women defeated Barbados 3-0 and also suffered a 0-3 loss to the Puerto Ricans.
