Six arrested for questioning after man found dead with head crushed on Black Bush Polder Road

Six individuals have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the death of 24-year-old Tameshwar Mangroo, a construction worker from Lot 26 Mibicuri South, Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, Berbice.

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, around 12:15 hrs, Mangroo was discovered on Lesbeholden Public Road in Black Bush Polder, with severe head injuries and what appeared to be brain matter strewn across the roadway.

His remains were subsequently transported to Mibicuri Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Currently, his body is at Ramoo’s Funeral Parlour, pending a post-mortem examination.

Region Six Police Commander Shivpersaud Bacchus confirmed that six individuals are in custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
