Kings, The Other Guys among winners in competitive start to ERC’s T10 Harmony League

The inaugural Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) Harmony T10 Tapeball League commenced Sunday, electrifying fans at the Transport Sports Club in Georgetown with a series of exhilarating matches.

In a straight knockout format, Success Strike Force, I.B.S, Kings, and The Other Guys emerged victorious from their respective encounters, setting the stage for an exciting tournament.

Highlighting the day’s action, Brian Sookram of The Other Guys delivered a sensational performance, hammering six sixes and eight fours in a blistering unbeaten 83 off just 28 balls, steering his team to a commanding chase.

Meanwhile, Ryan Latiff from Kings contributed with a quickfire 26* and took two pivotal wickets.

Ryan Bagwandin of I.B.S. made history by scoring the tournament’s first half-century, smashing 60 runs (6×4; 5x6s) in just 24 balls.

Designed to foster community engagement, the ERC Harmony T10 Tapeball League offers free entry for both teams and spectators.

The tournament boasts exciting rewards, including a $500,000 prize for the champions, $250,000 for the runners-up, and $100,000 for each of the two semi-finalists.

Individual accolades of $60,000 each will be awarded for the Man of the Final, Most Runs, and Most Wickets, with trophies generously sponsored by Trophy Stall.
